Master of International Hospitality Management
Edith Cowan University is excited to announce the Master of International Hospitality Management for semester 1, 2016. No other universities/providers in Western Australia offer any postgraduate courses in the discipline area of international hospitality management. The course focuses on the business and management principles that are relevant to the hospitality industry, and provides students with the knowledge and skills for a career in senior management in the international hospitality industry.

The course includes business units as well as applied hospitality units, and students have the opportunity to apply to undertake a capstone internship. Successful applicants who are enrolled in this program will complete 600 hours working in an area relevant to their business discipline and career aspirations. Students will develop a professional portfolio which will help demonstrate to potential employers their developed skills and suitability for employment.
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with businesses, not for profit organisations and industry associations through the internship program working on mutually beneficial projects. This course accommodates the needs of the diverse and dynamic international hospitality industry for job ready graduates.
Furthermore the internship program will provide students with unique access to professional mentors and supervisors who can observe and gain professional knowledge.
