Impact English Business Program

Impact English offers Business English course, a course to assist you in preparing for life in the world of business, or perhaps for further studies in a business-related course at university or college level. The Business English course incorporates practice for both the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) and the Test Of English for International Communication (TOEIC), although these exams are not part of the course.

Upper Intermediate to Advanced
Study period: 5 – 30 weeks
Level completion: 10 weeks

Business English will teach you the skills you need to join the global business community. This course is ideal for those want to work in business in the future.

In this Business English course you will:

• Learn English from qualified and experienced Business English teachers

• Gain greater confidence in your interpersonal communication skills

• Learn new vocabulary specific to business

• Participate in communicative business activities such as meetings, interviews and presentations

• Learn how to read business documents and write using formal English

The Impact’s Business English Program integrate a range of activities which include, presentations, formal business presentations, phrasal verbs games and role-plays, meetings, job interviews, CVs and letter writing, emails, reports, agendas, interviewing small business owners, marketing, working as a team – all with a “Business” theme. In addition to the specific English vocabulary, students learn business skills which they can use in their future studies or employment. The course incorporates practice for both the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) and the Test Of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Impact is an authorised TOEIC Test Centre.

Afternoon class (1:20pm – 5:45pm)

2014/2015 Course Intake Dates: Every Monday

Entry requirement: minimum Upper Intermediate level and Impact’s and Business English level test.
