This year Melbourne has been named the world’s most liveable city for the fourth year in a row, by the Economist Intelligence Unit’s liveability survey of 140 cities.

The survey rated cities out of 100 in the areas of healthcare, education, stability, culture and environment and infrastructure.

Melbourne received an overall score of 97.5 out of 100, scoring a perfect rating for healthcare, education and infrastructure.

Discover English was formed in Melbourne in February 2010 with the objective of being one of Australia’s premier English language colleges. The college is accredited by NEAS and is a member of English Australia.

The college was shortlisted as a finalist in English Language Training, Student Support and Student Experience in the Victorian International Education Awards.

Discover English was the first school to offer its students and extra 10 hours per week of free instructions (an optional 5 hours in the library with a teacher and 5 hours of electives). They also run a free weekly job seminar and activities 7 days a week.
