Why study at UNSWIL?

Founded more than 45 years ago, University New South Wales – Institute of Languages (UNSWIL) is the oldest and most well-known English teaching center in Australia. It offers the widest range of specialized English courses at the highest level.
The Institute of Languages is located in Sydney, just 15 minutes by bus from the center of Sydney and 20 minutes away by bus from the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Its location also provides easy access to some of the most spectacular beaches in Sydney, such as Coogee Beach and the famous Bondi Beach.

The Institute of Languages is located at two purpose built facilities for language teaching excellence at the campuses of University of New South Wales in Kensington and Randwick.
UNSW Institute of Languages offers English language courses for international and local students, courses in other languages, language testing and language teacher training.
English classes include Academic English (English for University), Professional English (Business English, English for Law and English for Medical Professionals), General English as well as IELTS test preparation and Cambridge exam preparation. English language programs are available at various levels and lengths and may be packaged with the UNSW Foundation Studies or a UNSW degree. UNSW Institute of Languages provides the best preparation for academic success at UNSW.
